Three Socks Locket?
Please excuse these tiny pictures, but as the top one is a little rude, I'd hate for you to get upset.
Anyway, Kitty and I wondered why Mrs Locket needed 3 socks. Kitty, I have the answer! She must know someone like this!

OMG! Who knew Jake the Peg was real???
Hmmmm, not sure I've actually met him! But everyone needs 3 socks so they can rotate them at least once a week to prevent both feet getting smelly.

Aah - here's the thing see - that Locket wears odd socks and just by knitting that one extra sock that gives her three lovely mismatched 'pairs'.
Think I prefer your version of events ;-)

I think Locket makes her poor children cram both their feet into one sock - hence needing three for the little Lockets. Either that or she is an alien - which would explain a lot ;-)
