Harvey

Well, here he is then, meet the latest member of the Stash Basket household. Harvey has arrived and oh blimey do we know it! Do not be deceived by this very innocent little face, but look closely at his paws. They love to dig. The mouth loves to chew. The body likes to lie in all the pretty flowers. The backside... well, we won't go into that just now!

But we are all totally smitten. He is gorgeous. Hard work and full of beans. Charges round like a loony, growling at his squeaky toy and tugging at his cuddly toys. He eats and drinks like there's no tomorrow.

This is the only time when I am able to get anything done round the house (like ironing, making tea and hoovering - knitting has been completely forgotten about - oh yes, he likes nibbling balls of wool too!)Oh and if anyone lives nearby, please send more newspaper - we are going through quite a lot!

Blogging will be very sporadic for the next while. This is worse than having a toddler. (At least you can stick a nappy on them!)

He really is a sweetie! With a face like that you couldn't stay cross with him for long - even if he does nibble your balls (of wool) a little!

What a cutie! He does sound like the canine version of Evie. Apart from the nibbling of the wool.

Aw, bless his little speckled puppy legs! With the little diggy puppy paws on the ends! ;)
Lately I have been cautiously pondering the idea of adding a second dog to the household, but the one that's already here is quite a handful and counts as at least one and a half, so I haven't had the nerve. Nothing like cute puppy pictures to make it seem more like a good idea, though! :)

Oh my. He's cute as a button, and I can imagine quite the handful. Every border collie I've ever known has been completely, delightfully, bonkers!!

It's almost enough to make me want one.....almost ;)

He is adorable. We know only too well at this end how much hard work pups can be. You may need cake.

Oh, the puppy gorgeousness of him! But you'd better begin wool chewing training pronto!
