Somebody help me please

I am giving very, very serious thought to casting this on. Someone please convince me this will not be a good idea. Despite having plenty of lovely double knitting yarn that would work perfectly in this pattern. It would not be a good idea would it? Or would it?

I think it would be a lovely idea ,but I think it would be something that would take some time ,so you might want to make something else as well ,so that you dont get fed up with it and it becomes a chore ,but yes imagine how wonderful when its complete ..love Jan xx

HI. I haven't commented before but have been reading for a while. Got to admit that looks very interesting but like Jan I think you would want to be knitting something else at the same time or you may seriously go insane..vbg. Try the pattern first - if you love it then go for it. If you don't then find another use for that wool.....I'm sure you have plenty of ideas..vbg. Good luck with your decision.

I went to this man's last British workshops, they look complicated but once you get the hang of them they are quite easy, unfortunately his patterns take some following, but practice and you will mamnage I'm sure.........his is very practica;l knitting, he wants you to weave in ends as you go, knit up for edges so there are no seams.......maybe a knitalong is the answer.........? I looked at this and thought it looked very pretty, didn't have the yarn at home so went back to looking at the shawls again as I do have some of that in my stash!

I have mixed feelings about it but given your passion for blankets I am sure you could whip one up in no time!

Wow.

I'm sure that if you decide to make one, it will be gorgeous!

(Personally, I couldn't do it, as patterns that "move" make me slightly dizzy.)

My word! That is amazing. Cast it on quick sticks and I think I might need to cast one on too. Cheers for the link

Looks wonderful - and you knit so quickly [lovely shawl by the way, but mohair, aaargh]- I would have it in a bag Behind The Sofa for spare half-hours... for finishing, hmm, before the Olympics? It's so-o-o tempting [yes, have downloaded the patt...]Go on. it'll be great! Mairianna.

I have looked at that too- with envy- because it looks a little too daunting for me to try. Please go for it so I can drool over it some more.
