Dear Warren,
What happened was this. I went into the charity shop yesterday feeling cold and fancied warming up. So I looked in the jumper section and found 2 very pretty cardigans. Neither of them went with what I was wearing at the time, so I decided to bring them home and wear them another day. Now I felt compelled to wash them both first, so I did. Unfortunately the temperature was obviously too high as both cardis shrank considerably in the machine, and surprisingly they got all matted and turned into felt. So I'm left now with some extra felt to add to my pile.
And when I said I wouldn't be buying any more wool before Ally Pally, I obviously didn't mean clothes. Surely you wouldn't want me to get cold now would you?

ROTFLMAO? I had to ask a friend what that meant. Shocked I was. But thanks anyway.

Strange, I've not even had a drink and already I'm seeing double! The Regia you sent has already started forming into a sock - it's lovely!

Dear Trashalou Conscience
I have made something already - several somethings in fact, but it's top secret and I can't tell you what. However, if you want to e-mail me your address, I might just make you something, since you asked so nicely.

Well, did I manage to wriggle out of that one? And yes, that Warren is a very, very clever one.

I'd got behind on blog-reading so I read this post before the earlier one but both have left me with a huge smile on my face! Well done for outsmarting that Warren fella - and well done for getting such lovely felts together!
Can't wait to see what you are doing with them all. Lucy xxx
Michaela, I confess that as soon as I read yesterday's post, I worried about Warren and hoped he wasn't blog-reading. I am so glad you managed to clear up any potential misunderstanding.:)

Just found this:

thought you might be interested. I was told to wear mine on the right for my Son's wedding - which I did. It does show up well on the photos as I stood on his right angled in. So do what you like. There was a picture of the queen today with a brooch on her right!
Senior moment there! that was meant to read The Queen wore a brooch on HER left (my right as I saw it) Oh forget it......
