Saturday pudding...

... was a very low-key affair this week. Fresh pineapple with home-made strawberry ripple ice cream. Low-key and due to the huge amounts of fruit, it must have been low calorie yes? Humour me here, yes, it was! Must get arse into gear over the diet.

Oh and today's pudding is going to be pineapple upside down cake with custard. I've had a hankering for this for quite a while now, so today is going to be the day.

Someone please remind me what I just said about the diet will you?

All those calories you saved with your healthy Saturday pudding will give you plenty of room for Sunday's!

That looks delicious!

I've been thinking...I've taken ten big boxes of paper and books to recycling in the past two weeks. Don't you think we should be counting the weight we remove from our, um, habitats, as well at the weight from our bods?

Hmmm? No? Oh well.

Seriously, one benefit from this effort is that, even if I'm not losing weight every week, I'm eating better-quality food, because I'm trying to keep junkfood out of the house.

Now I just need to start eating less quantity of the good stuff! Thanks for keeping the inspiration coming, Michaela :)

How yummy :)
Pineapple Upside Down Cake = 1 of your 5 a day, therefore its healthy and diet food (well thats my rationalisation for eating fondue for dinner as we ate it with apple slices!)

Custard is good for you too as it has loads of calcium from all that milk ;)

Reminder to get arse in gear over diet ;-) (just teasing!)
I joined WW again this morning, but practically fell off the scales when I was only 4.5 lbs over what was my old goal weight. My scales at home are obviously way out - I thought I had about a stone to lose! Anyway, still want to lose those 4.5 lbs (actually it's going to be 6.5 lbs, as they wouldn't take me on if I had less than 5 lbs to lose, so I aimed for a nice round number), so I'm dieting now too... Does licking the spoon count when you've made jam?!
