And we're off...

Less than an hour until I head off to Ally Pally.

No yarn since February.

A purse stuffed with cash (well, not exactly stuffed, but there's a bit in there), cheque book and credit cards.

A big empty bag.

No husband to hold me back and say 'no'.

Oh sod this, I'm going early!

See you when I get back (if you go today and happen to see a woman in a green fair isle cardigan with a knitted monkee sticking out of her bag, do say hello).

Is anyone else here worried? The show closed its doors at 5.30. It's now 9.30 and Michaela hasn't posted any piccies of her purchases. It doesn't take that long to get home from Ally Pally.

Is it possible that she had some sort of yarn-induced episode and had to be carted off to recover?

Or maybe (and I'd love this to be the truth) she's still running around the stalls, grabbing yarn--and leaving the correct money, of course--whilst avoiding the security staff.

Anyway, congratulations on your self-restraint, Michaela. I'm am genuinely amazed that you've made it. Do let me know how much I owe and to which charity.
