I have nearly finished sewing up the knitted squares blanket and would love a crochet border round it. Problem being I can't crochet. Is there anyone out there who would be kind and generous, willing and able to crochet a simple border round this blanket for me? Please? A really big please?
Sadly the only compensation will be knowledge that your edging will be loved by someone who you (or me) are never likely to meet.
Please, all you Happy Hookers out there, do not feel obliged to volunteer, if no one does then I shall attempt to learn the art of the hook myself! Gulp!

you know that I would but
a) I fear you wouldn't leave it in my care for fear it would be put safely again for too many weeks
and
b)I can't crochet either.
I'd love to be able to offer to help but I'm totally intimidated by the idea of crocheting a border! Sorry! Lucy x
You sound like you wanna twist my arm ;o)
I can crochet, both Lucy and Trashy can testify to that, so.....
She can! She can! Plus she counts in Dutch so no rotten kids can distract her with random number flows!!!!!
I could do the counting in Dutch, but normally I do it in Danish ;oP
It is a very useful "tool" though
D'oh! I knew it began with a 'D'!!!
My apologies Eve:-)
Spooky -yet another similarity btn us...(have we been keeping track of those?)
I was going to volunteer but have to say I'm kind of relieved that Eve got there first!

I wish I could crochet. Then I would crochet your border for you.
Better dig out those Erika Knight books again and have another go. I have this urge to do some granny squares.
Kx
